Writing to Reach You

April 12, 2006

I am not going to stop writing if that’s the only way for me to reach you. I am not going to cease pouring the words, hoping someday you would find them right and you would finally know you’re naive.

I am forever going to put words to everything that you are to me for that is the only bravest way I know how to touch you. I only know of words hiding between these inexperienced teeth, unsaid until they are overwhelmed by you.

When will I ever have the courage to tell you that you are the sweetest words inside my mouth?

It’s no consolation that you’re going away. That at the end of what may become, I may lost meaning amidst your sentences, that I will die inside you like I had never lived at all.

See me as your waste then. See me as deleted words that can never be undone. Count your other abc’s. Write about them because I only have few synonyms.

Although you are a poem, I am no poet.

I wrote.
